    Head of Operations

    BettingJobs is excited to partner with a growing business from South Africa who are expanding their offices into Europe and are on the cusp on attaining their MGA and UKGC licenses. They are currently seeking a Head of Operations to join their team in Johannesburg.

    The business is a B2C casino company with 6 brands, who are in the process of migrating from a white-label provider onto their own platform (developed in-house).

    The company has approximately 100 staff with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Malta with staff in the UK. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join their growing team as they begin a new chapter in their journey.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define and execute strategies to optimize efficiency, drive revenue growth, and align long-term operations with company objectives, informed by industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Collaborate with CPO, product, and marketing teams to roll out product roadmaps, manage technology solutions, execute market campaigns, and improve customer experience and service.
    • Ensure efficient gaming operations, compliance, and performance, working closely with department leaders and optimizing localized payment solutions.
    • Collaborate with legal, fraud, and risk departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain operational excellence.
    • Partner with the Executive Committee to define strategic objectives, develop, and execute both short-term and long-term operational plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Innovate and standardize business processes, foster continuous improvement, resolve cross-departmental issues, and maintain operational excellence while ensuring IT and data security compliance.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge and experience in the online casino & i-gaming industry is non-negotiable.
    • Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
    • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
