BettingJobs is partnering with a leading provider of cutting-edge gambling software solutions in their search for a System Administration to join their team in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS) for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Monitor and optimize AWS services, CDN performance, and internal infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and enhance CDN, network, and server performance while ensuring security best practices.
• Manage internal servers, applications, and network devices, enforcing security policies.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Implement and maintain data backup, disaster recovery, and documentation procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in system administration, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Understanding of storage technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with CDN technologies (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly).
• Understanding of CDN concepts, such as caching, load balancing, and edge computing.
