    Sportsbook Manager

    BettingJobs is working with a UKGC licensed sportsbook operator who are currently looking to add a Sportsbook Manager to their team in London.

    • Create and deliver a Sportsbook strategy which seeks to achieve annual incremental growth, reduced customer churn, and maximum LTV.
    • Manage an existing team with a view to growing headcount as the company launch more brands.
    • Ownership of forecasting, evaluation and testing of free bet, bonus and promotional spend, including the management of fraud and bonus abuse.
    • Mentoring and development existing team members is crucial to this role, ensuring that direct report’s work is appropriately challenging and progressive.
    • Work closely with the partners, specifically the platform provider to continually improve the digital products.
    • Act as the key stakeholder for sportsbook, ensuring requirements are fed into the product roadmap and UAT is carried out on any new features or development.
    • Identify and drive process improvements internally, as well as externally with the suppliers and partners.
    • Review competitor propositions, and identify strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, threats.
    • Own the end-to-end promotion strategy for Sportsbook. Work closely with Director of Operations to create KPI’s which will help define each brand’s proposition.
    • Utilise in-house bonusing tools as well as the manual capabilities of the wider team to deliver innovative and effective initiatives that resonate with customers.
    • Build and maintain a high performance, data-driven, diverse & collaborative team culture.
    • Act as a key stakeholder for improvement of the offering of sports markets.
    • Hold the platform, platform trading team and feed providers to account for the performance and efficiency of their operations on the sites.

    • Industry experience – must have worked in Sportsbook.
    • Numerical and analytical skills a must.
    • Commercially minded.
    • Flexible approach to working.
    • A team player who can and is willing to wear many hats.
    • Proven experience of leading junior teams.
    • Able to operate with high degree of autonomy.
