    Senior Retention Manager – Sports Betting

    Our client, a subsidiary of a leading gaming operator, is looking for talented professionals to join their new office in Tbilisi, Georgia. They are currently seeking a Senior Retention Manager – Sports Betting to become a key member of their team.

    As the Senior Retention Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing player retention strategies to enhance loyalty and increase lifetime value for sports bettors, as well as collaborating with the marketing & promotions teams to create and execute retention-focused campaigns and promotions tailored to sports betting players.

    This role is well suited to an individual with strong knowledge of sports betting operations, customer behaviour, and retention strategies with 5+ years of experience in sports betting management, player retention, or similar roles within the iGaming industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our sports betting platform, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and rewarding experience for players.
    • Develop and implement player retention strategies to enhance loyalty and increase lifetime value for sports bettors.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and promotions teams to create and execute retention-focused campaigns and promotions tailored to sports betting players.
    • Analyse player behaviour and feedback to refine the user journey, increase engagement, and reduce churn.
    • Track and optimize performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement in player retention and revenue generation.
    • Stay up-to-date on sports trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to ensure our sports betting offering remains competitive and innovative.
    • Ensure all sports betting operations comply with licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and responsible gaming practices.
    • Work closely with other departments such as product, customer support, and analytics to align retention strategies with broader business goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on player retention, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and best practices.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in sports betting management, player retention, or similar roles within the iGaming industry.
    • Strong knowledge of sports betting operations, customer behaviour, and retention strategies.
    • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
    • Proficiency in using data analytics tools to monitor performance, make informed decisions, and optimize retention efforts.
    • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with sports betting platforms, CRM tools, and back-office systems.
    • Familiarity with compliance standards, including AML, responsible gaming, and data protection.
    • Knowledge of emerging trends in sports betting technology, gamification, and player retention strategies.
