    Senior DevOps Engineer

BettingJobs is working with a rapid growth iGaming operator now seeking to expand their team with a Senior DevOps Engineer in Manila.

    Responsibilities:
    • Architect, build, and manage highly scalable and secure infrastructure across both AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with NFRs (performance, uptime, cost) as your guiding principles. You’ll navigate both environments seamlessly, designing architectures that meet stringent functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Master the art of AWS ECS and Azure Durable Functions for stateful serverless applications, ensuring optimal resource utilization and responsiveness. Leverage your container orchestration and serverless expertise to deliver exceptional user experiences while adhering to NFRs.
    • Unleash the power of Cloudflare solutions to enhance performance, security, and NFR compliance. From DNS to WAF, you’ll configure and integrate tools that optimize delivery, safeguard infrastructure, and contribute to NFR fulfillment.
    • Become an IaC virtuoso with Terraform and Ansible, writing code that builds and manages infrastructure consistently and repeatably, with NFRs at the forefront. Infrastructure as code is your mantra, and you ensure it promotes maintainability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
    • Automate everything with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps), and don’t forget NFRs! Design and implement pipelines that not only deliver features quickly but also measure and optimize for performance, security, and maintainability.
    • Become the eyes and ears of the infrastructure with expert monitoring. Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and others to proactively identify and resolve NFR-related issues before they impact users. Analyze metrics, set alerts, and champion data-driven NFR decision-making.
    • Collaborate effectively with developers, security, and operations teams, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for NFRs. You’ll communicate clearly, advocate for NFR considerations, and work seamlessly with various stakeholders.
    • Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new technologies and best practices, always seeking ways to improve the non-functional aspects, monitoring capabilities, and cloud-native deployments of the infrastructure. Continuous learning and innovation are your fuel.

    Requirements:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role. You have a proven track record of building and operating NFR-compliant and well-monitored cloud infrastructure in hybrid environments.
    • Advanced knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, security best practices) and Azure Cloud Services (Azure VMs, App Service, Storage Accounts, networking). You’re a true hybrid cloud expert.
    • Extensive experience with AWS ECS and container orchestration principles. You understand how to optimize containerized applications for performance and scalability while adhering to NFRs.
    • Solid understanding of Azure Durable Functions and their application for stateful serverless workloads. You know how to leverage serverless architecture for efficiency and NFR optimization.
    • Proficiency in Cloudflare solutions and their impact on NFRs. You know how to leverage Cloudflare for more than just security, keeping NFRs in mind.
    • Expert-level IaC skills with Terraform and Ansible, with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and cost optimization. Your infrastructure code is clean, efficient, and NFR-aware.
    • CI/CD pipeline mastery (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, or similar), integrating NFR testing and monitoring. Automation is your superpower, but you never forget NFRs.
    • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.). Automating tasks, analyzing performance metrics, and crafting monitoring scripts are second nature to you.
    • Extensive Linux system administration experience. You understand the underbelly of the cloud and its impact on NFRs.
    • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. You can diagnose issues, explain them clearly, advocate for NFR-driven solutions, and effectively communicate monitoring insights.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. You’re a self-starter who thrives in collaboration and champions NFR
