Betting Jobs is working with an independent games studio that was recently acquired by a larger iGaming group. With offices in Barcelona and Armenia, the company are expanding rapidly having gained access to a number of new licenses and jurisdictions through their acquisition.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall technical strategy and ensure alignment with the company’s business objectives.
• Own the architecture, design, and development and product roadmap of the company’s platform, ensuring its scalability, performance, and security.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Oversee system design and development processes, making critical architectural decisions and ensuring high code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional gaming experiences.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the gaming and blockchain industries, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the online casino industry, with deep provider-side process knowledge.
• Strong backend development expertise: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js; familiarity with Rust and Kotlin.
• Skilled in GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Google Cloud, and containerized/cloud-based deployments.
• Proven ability to automate workflows; bonus for experience with AI, LLMs, and Generative AI integration.
• Proficient in gambling industry compliance and platform/player monitoring for performance and security.
• Strong documentation of platforms, APIs, and tools; experienced in online casino partner integration.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.
• Experienced in impactful architectural decision-making and tech leadership.
• Passionate about innovation in technology and gaming, with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
