BettingJobs is excited to be working with an established iGaming company based in Malta, who are seeking a Risk & Fraud Analyst to join their team. As a Risk & Fraud Analyst you will be responsible for analysing gameplay data to prevent fraudulent activity across casino and sportsbook.
This role would be a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of iGaming experience, a strong understanding of gameplay mechanics, and a passion for detecting fraud and maintaining platform integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients through available communication channels and respond regarding
status/security of their profile
- Spot, investigate, and report frauds and abuses around platform usage
- Analyze and report any suspicious behavior regarding internal fraud activity
- Process and oversee deposits and withdrawals. Report and take action on suspicious transactions
- Communicate with the technical department in order to solve possible problems
- Analyze and take action based on various reports. If needed, suggest changes and improvements
- User profiling. Adjusting clients’ accounts rights in accordance with procedures and company’s best interest
- Maintain documentation about guidelines and procedures
- Accomplish any request coming from the direct manager & management
team in a legal manner
- Provide training, feedback and guidance for less experienced team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year iGaming industry experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective follow-through
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel
- Client-oriented, responsive to client requests
- Problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to look at situations from several points of view
- Ability to think quickly and work under pressure with limited supervision
- Proven ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality with regards to client and employee data and investigations
- Availability to work during unsociable hours with the flexibility to work at any time, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Hybrid working model (3 days/ week in office).
