Betting Jobs are very excited to be partnering with a growing business from South Africa who are expanding their offices into Europe, and are on the cusp on attaining their MGA and UKGC licenses. The business is a B2C casino company who have 6 brands and are in the process of migrating from a white-label provider onto their own platform (developed in-house). They are currently searching for a Project Manager to join their team.
The company have roughly 100 staff and offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Malta, with staff in the UK as well. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join their growing team as they start a new chapter in their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed plans including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
- Assemble and guide project teams, assign responsibilities, foster collaboration, and motivate members to meet objectives.
- Engage stakeholders, manage expectations, provide regular updates, and address concerns promptly.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to minimize disruptions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor timelines, track resources, ensure efficient utilization, and manage project finances within budget.
- Define quality standards, conduct regular assessments, implement corrective measures, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- Preferred degree in business administration, project management, or related field, with 3+ years in project management, ideally in the iGaming industry.
- Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies; experienced in managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Deep understanding of IT trends and tools, including programming languages, databases, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Strong ability to motivate, coach, and manage teams effectively.
- Capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Solid business acumen, knowledge of financial and risk management, business analysis, and effective change management methodologies.
