BettingJobs are working with a cutting-edge e-commerce company developing products for their own technological platform, who are currently looking to add a Product Owner – Data Integration to their team.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with every stakeholder across the business to create and execute Data Integration projects.
• Develop and create strong and close relations with business areas in terms of data needs and requests.
• Work with the data team architects, other POs, Tech Leads and Devs to communicate and summarize projects into tasks using JIRA tickets.
• Estimate feature resource allocation and opportunity costs, budget, risk, and dependencies through collaboration with the architects, developers, and business teams.
• Manage all stakeholders’ expectations from inception to delivery through regular communication.
• Collaborate with other teams like Product, Infrastructure, and Security to manage and plan dependencies and impacts.
• Own the business request process regarding functionality and priority in the roadmap.
• Provide regular analysis and updates on progress to commercial, technical, operational, and compliance stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.
• Present and communicate the Data roadmap and projects regularly to high-level stakeholder such as C-Level, board members or big groups of employees.
Requirements:
• Previous work experience (4 years) as a Product Owner in Tech/IT Data related products.
• Working experience with data projects of at least two months duration with 2-3 of these tools: on-prem or cloud ETL software, Airbyte, Spark, Flink, SAS, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Segment, Apache Pulsar, Python (NumPy, Pandas)
• Working experience with an Orchestration and Data Infrastructure Software of at least two months duration with one of these tools:
• DBT, Airflow, Linux/Unix Cron, Kubernetes, VMWare.
• 3-4 years of experience in big data, data warehousing, and real-time data-feeds projects and technologies.
• 3-4 years of experience in products based in relational or non-relational databases:
• (SQL Server, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Starrocks, BigQuery, and PostgreSQL are a plus)
• Extensive knowledge and experience with SQL and Python.
• 2-3 years of experience in big data projects where the managing a huge volume of data is critical.
• Technical Background, STEM Bachelor or similar.
• Should have an in depth understanding of data analytical modeling and reporting tools architecture and its relation to business results.
• SCRUM and/or KanBan certifications.
• Flexible to work with departments in different time-zones
• Flexible to travel twice or less overseas for less than a week period (per year)
• Flexible to travel around four-five times within Europe for less than a week period (per year)
• C1 English level
• C1 Spanish level
• 2-3 years of experience in online gambling and online sports betting.
• Able to work in a high-pace environment in a diverse company, Agile methodology, business changes, high-level requisites.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, specially with strong high-level stakeholders.
• Great patience and Empathy to generate meaningful close relationship with the business and providers, understanding their needs and pain-points pro-actively and reactively.
• Ultra-organized, methodologic and process based.
• Very pro-active in order to find initiatives, projects and stakeholders in the background.
• Comfortable crafting and presenting complex roadmap, and projects details to C-Level stakeholders regularly (specially Quarters meetings on progress review).
