    Payment, Risk & Fraud Analyst

    BettingJobs is partnering with a leading provider of cutting-edge gambling software solutions in their search for a Payment, Risk & Fraud Analyst to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor customer activity for suspicious behaviour, including fraud, bonus abuse, and irregular deposit/withdrawal patterns.
    • Verify and process withdrawal requests in compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Enforce KYC procedures, reviewing identity documents and updating accounts accordingly.
    • Analyse session history, transactions, and player behaviour to detect fraud or money laundering.
    • Flag high-risk accounts based on deposit and withdrawal patterns.
    • Approve withdrawals for legitimate players.
    • Collaborate with customer support and compliance teams on withdrawal issues.
    • Monitor high-risk transactions and take proactive risk mitigation measures.
    • Ensure prompt and accurate processing of all payment transactions.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance fraud detection and automation.
    • Make autonomous decisions on handling fraudulent accounts in line with company protocol.

    Requirements:

    • Ideally 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud detection, or a similar role
    • Strong understanding of KYC, and fraud prevention practices. Experience with online payment processing is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and cross-team collaboration.
    • Flexibility to work shifts, including night, weekends, and holidays.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently in a high-paced environment.
    • Ability to analyse large sets of data and identify patterns or anomalies that indicate fraud or risk.
    • Able to work under minimal supervision and able to multi-task
    • High level of integrity and ethical standards in dealing with sensitive customer data.
