    Operations Manager

    BettingJobs is working with a sportsbook and casino operator established in the Tanzania market and they are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee all online operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the casino and sportsbook to ensure efficiency and profitability.
    • Maintain strict compliance with all relevant gaming regulations and laws in Tanzania.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations, improve revenue, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Lead and manage teams, including remote staff and on-ground personnel such as dealers, floor managers, and support teams.
    • Monitor financial performance, analyse reports, and make data-driven decisions to meet operational goals.
    • Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service, resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
    • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial accountability.
    • Implement and oversee compliance protocols to protect customers, employees, and assets.
    • Ensure all gaming software are functioning correctly.
    • Assist with staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
    • Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior management.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years in a similar management role within the gaming or sportsbook industry.
    • In-depth understanding of gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and the Tanzanian gaming market.
    • Proven ability to manage and inspire large teams in a dynamic environment.
    • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
    • Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and data analysis.
    • Familiarity with casino management software, sportsbook platforms and other relevant tools.
    • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
    • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
