BettingJobs are currently seeking a Model Trader for an established sports betting consultancy.

This role would be ideally suited to an individual who has experience of operating sports betting models for financial gain, ideally as part of a professional sports betting consultancy or similar. You will have a detailed knowledge of sports betting models, with experience of Python, R or C++, combined with a strong football betting knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the trading system to maximize the volume of trades, meeting target metrics.
• Collaborate closely with developers and quants to enhance the trading system with practical feedback.
• Work closely with the operational support team to optimise the trading pipeline.
• Solve practical problems swiftly to minimize trading downtime.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Football betting
• Experience working with and improving sports betting models
• Good knowledge of programming languages, ideally Python, R or C++
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Availability for weekends and evenings.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Willingness to work during unsociable hours (weekends, early mornings, and late nights).
