    Marketing Manager

    BettingJobs are working with a new brand launching in Nigeria, this is a senior level role which will help set-up and run their operation in Lagos. They are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team based in Lagos.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a localised marketing strategy to position our brand effectively in the Nigerian market.
    • Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email, content marketing, and out-of-home advertising.
    • Create and manage a marketing calendar to align with key events, sports seasons, and promotional opportunities.
    • Build and maintain a strong brand presence across all customer touchpoints.
    • Ensure brand consistency in all marketing communications and materials.
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones, focusing on cost-effective channels.
    • Collaborate with the product and customer service teams to enhance the user experience and increase customer loyalty.
    • Identify and establish partnerships with local influencers, sports organisations, media outlets, and other relevant entities to enhance brand visibility.
    • Negotiate and manage sponsorship deals and promotional partnerships.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the Nigerian market.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimise marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
    • Recruit, train, and manage a local marketing team.
    • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to ensure team success.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the betting/gaming industry or related sectors. Minimum of 3 year’s experience in the betting/gaming industry
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in Nigeria.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content marketing.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed marketing decisions.
    • Creativity and innovation in developing unique marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Digital Marketing) is a plus.
