    Marketing Director

    Betting Jobs is working with one of the leading gambling companies in the Romanian market, who are in the process of expanding the business into new verticals. The Marketing Director will focus primarily on the Online Casino side of the business – with the aim of becoming one of the top operators by market share in the Romanian market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Romanian casino market, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
    • Align marketing initiatives with business objectives and oversee omnichannel campaigns (digital, offline, experiential) to maximise ROI.
    • Conduct market research to analyse trends, competitors, and consumer behaviour, identifying opportunities to differentiate the brand and expand the customer base.
    • Enhance brand positioning and ensure consistent communication across all channels, collaborating with creative teams to maintain an innovative brand identity.
    • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Coordinate with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive strategies and spearhead digital transformation initiatives using data-driven marketing.
    • Optimise SEO, PPC, social media, and programmatic advertising to strengthen online presence.
    • Establish and negotiate strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to expand market reach.
    • Ensure compliance with Romanian gambling regulations and advertising standards.
    • Define KPIs, analyse campaign performance, and present insights to senior management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
    • 8-10+ years in senior marketing roles, ideally in gambling, casino, or entertainment industries, with proven success in the Romanian market.
    • Strong knowledge of Romania’s gambling and casino regulatory landscape.
    • Exceptional leadership, team management, and digital marketing expertise.
    • Analytical mindset with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluency in Romanian and English is mandatory.
