BettingJobs is working with an exciting new iGaming operator seeking to expand their team with the addition of a Senior KYC Operator to their team in Cyprus.

This role will develop KYC processes and requires experince with the SumSub platform

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new and existing players in line with regulatory requirements.
• Create KYC processes adhering to iGaming best practise.
• Verify identity documents (e.g. passports, utility bills, bank statements).
• Monitor and review player accounts for suspicious activity or unusual patterns.
• Collaborate with the AML and Compliance teams to ensure full adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all verifications performed.
• Support customer service teams with KYC-related queries.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a KYC, fraud, compliance, or similar role within iGaming.
• Strong knowledge of AML and KYC regulations (e.g., MGA, UKGC, or similar jurisdictions).
• Hands-on experience with KYC tools and platforms—experience with Sumsub is essential.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
