    IT Manager

    BettingJobs are working with an iGaming company who have offices based in Manila and are looking for several IT Managers to join their team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical manager and be responsible for leading tech teams of 5-10.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead projects from feasibility to production, focusing on operational efficiency and new software product development.
    • Manage a 24/7 operations environment and build a new Operations Room from the ground up.
    • Demonstrate expertise in CISCO networks, enterprise servers, hypervisors, VMs (on-prem and cloud), IaaS, SaaS, and Internet circuitry.
    • Oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
    • Optimize and automate operational workflows.
    • Manage budgets for headcount, CAPEX, OPEX, software, and LAN asset maintenance with well-justified expenditures.
    • Lead and mentor a diverse team, focusing on coaching, talent development, and succession planning, with regular performance evaluations.

    Requirements:

    • Hands-on technical manager with a minimum of 6 years of managerial experience.
    • Proactive leader and thought leader with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
    • Excellent collaborator with peers, counterparts, and direct reports.
    • Strong coaching abilities with the capacity to develop and motivate a team.
    • Critical, logical, and lateral thinker; detailed, decisive, and able to balance tactical and strategic priorities.
    • Expertise in Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio Community, Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.), PHP, Python, and RESTful API integration and development.
    • Familiarity with Windows 7, 10, and 11; Linux environments; VMware (v6 to v8); DELL EMC PowerEdge Servers.
    • Experience with micro-controllers and mini-computers running various Linux-based operating systems.
    • Strong skills in business, people, technology, and procedural management.
    • Proficient in capacity planning, sustainability planning, audit trail checking, and cloud/on-prem device hardening.
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
