BettingJobs is working with a well-established crypto and fiat operator seeking to expand their Finance team with a proactive Head of Treasury.

The Head of Treasury will be responsible for managing and optimising the company’s banking operations and financial risk profile. This role is critical to ensuring that the organization maintains strong relationships with banks, has access to secure and efficient banking products, and is capable of making international payments in multiple currencies.

Responsibilities:

• Mitigate banking risk by ensuring suitable facilities and payment options for all group companies.
• Develop strategies to manage financial risks and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Open, manage, and ensure compliance of all bank accounts, and act as the main contact for banking institutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and vendors and provide feedback on improving banking services.
• Oversee the security of banking processes, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations, especially for online gambling.
• Explore and implement new banking products, optimize arrangements to reduce costs, and manage banking limits for liquidity.
• Regularly review and adjust limits, develop reporting tools, and track KPIs to enhance payment efficiency.
• Collaborate with the finance team on treasury processes and support broader finance initiatives and special projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in senior treasury or financial management within online gaming or gambling, with direct experience in Curacao-licensed businesses.
• Expertise in banking products for high-risk industries, online banking systems, and secure payment technologies.
• Leadership experience managing remote financial teams and strong bank connections in the online gaming sector.
• Knowledgeable in KYB processes and multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance.
• Track record in multi-currency payment management and professional finance qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA).
• Familiarity with fintech solutions and payment gateways.
