    Group Architect

    BettingJobs are working with a leading B2B Provider in the iGaming industry. They are looking for an experienced Group Architect to join their team in Bucharest.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical direction and jointly with CTO lead all aspects of the company’s technological development.
    • Participate in management meetings, handle management of directly led engineering teams (budget, staff appraisals, performance & KPI management).
    • Client-facing solution design & sales presentation.
    • Work side by side with business leaders to provide guidance into the use of new and innovative technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness and can accelerate the growth of the company.
    • Ensure that communication between all teams, technical and business, is fluid and transparent.
    • Ensuring software meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility etc.
    • Providing technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
    • Working with business stakeholders and clients to propose technical solutions and designs.
    • Producing high quality documentation for both internal and external audiences.
    • Reviewing existing and proposed platform architectures and ensuring that weaknesses and problem root-causes are identified and mitigated.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
    • At least 10 years of experience in software development or a similar information technology role.
    • A minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role within the iGaming industry.
    • Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
    • Deep understanding of the iGaming industry, including its products, vendors, operators, and the challenges they face.
    • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrates a high level of responsibility and independence in executing tasks.
    • Able to work under tight deadlines with little direction or oversight, multi-task and be flexible to cope with changing priorities.
    • Curious, forward-thinking, and eager to explore innovative solutions.
