BettingJobs have partnered with a global leader in online gambling regulation that is looking to appoint a new Director of Licensing. The role must be located in Alderney.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal guidance relating to relevant iGaming legislation
• Oversee applicant investigations
• Prepare and report on Executive Committee papers
• Authorise and coordinate enforcement action
• Maintain and develop regulatory and legislative structure and policy
• Oversee the internal secretariat function
• Render legal advice to the Executive Committee
• Liaise with relevant registries, corporate service providers, and legal authorities
• Contribute to the strategic forum

Requirements:

• Qualified legal professional
• Experience in the iGaming sector desirable
• Investigative skills relating to large and complex corporate structures
• Understanding of ML/TF/PF typologies and the exploitation of legal persons and arrangements
• Ability to understand and interpret applicable legislation
• Ability to express difficult concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to work under pressure and provide practical and decisive advice, sometimes in urgent situations
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to deal with people at all levels
• Ability to work as part of a team and a commitment to team working
