BettingJobs are working with a B2B Affiliate marketing platform provider who are based out of Malta. They work with clients globally across several continents and are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their technical team in Malta. Will be hybrid in the office and if not based in Malta already, will require full relocation to the island.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and implement countermeasures.
• Audit configurations for security best practices and compliance.
• Analyse logs with SIEM tools to detect anomalies and respond to incidents.
• Enhance endpoint protection and data encryption strategies.
• Maintain and manage security certifications and regulatory compliance.
• Build and improve systems for threat and vulnerability management.
• Ensure seamless security integration for new technologies.
• Automate security tasks and data analysis using scripting.
• Improve system monitoring for rapid detection and response.
• Update and enforce security policies and lead awareness initiatives.
• Prepare for zero-day attacks through training and simulations.
• Provide guidance on integrating security into project development.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Azure Cloud experience, including deployment, management, and security.
• Relevant certification (e.g., Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Expertise in cloud security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment skills.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools for log analysis.
• Threat intelligence and countermeasure implementation experience.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• Proven incident detection and response capabilities.
• Experience managing endpoint protection and encryption.
• Ability to develop and enforce effective security policies.
