Betting Jobs are very excited to be partnering with a growing business from South Africa who are expanding their offices into Europe and are on the cusp on attaining their MGA and UKGC licenses. The business is a B2C casino company who have 6 brands and are in the process of migrating from a white-label provider onto their own platform (developed in-house). They are currently searching for a Business Analyst to join their team.
The company have roughly 100 staff and offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Malta, with staff in the UK as well. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join their growing team as they start a new chapter in their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document requirements (user stories, use cases, etc.)
- Manage all ceremonies, reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Liaise between business and IT stakeholders, ensuring requirements are met
- Collaborate with Product Owners on delivery prioritization
- Lead User Acceptance Testing and manage defect resolution
- Balance new feature development with burn-down management
- Align business and technical requirements, identifying and mitigating project risks
- Assist in analysing stakeholder objectives and business requirements
- Define and document system acceptance criteria and process flows
- Support formal requirements gathering, design documentation, and project planning
- Maintain project status, guide junior team members, and facilitate cross-team collaboration
- Conduct test coverage analysis and risk prioritization
- Prepare project scope and contribute to test strategy and training materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Agile Business Analyst certifications preferred
- Trusted advisor with strong client-facing and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proficient in requirements planning, documentation, and implementation
- Experienced with Agile methodologies, DevOps, Confluence, and ERP processes
- Skilled in data modeling, user story creation, and testing tools (e.g., Selenium)
- Advanced in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong relationship-building and project management skills
- Effective in matrix-managed, global, and cross-cultural environments
- Proven experience in delivering results, motivating teams, and supporting development goals
- Independent, flexible, and self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Hands-on, practical approach with a focus on team collaboration and problem-solving
