BettingJobs are currently seeking a CMO for an established operator in the African market. Having established an already successful business they are looking to appoint a CMO who can add significant value and help develop the brand and grow the business in Liberia.

This role would be well suited to an experienced senior marketing professional with a strong knowledge of the African market. Knowledge of retail betting in Africa will be key.
The successful candidate will be based in Monrovia, Liberia.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and implementing the annual work plan in line with the business strategy
• Building and managing the marketing budget
• Develop brand positioning
• Responsibility for promotions starting from the stage of formulating an idea to leading a campaign
• Managing campaigns while integrating ATL and BTL activities and interfacing with the digital platforms
• Managing the digital channels – website, application, social networks and more, while managing the offline and online marketing channels
• Loyalty club – increasing the number of club members and their usage
• Responsibility for the customer service unit while performing registration and education of new customers and retention of old customers
• PR – press releases and public relations
• Performance measurement, management, and report analysis
• Visibility – Billboards – branding points of sale, etc

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a senior marketing manager
• Strong knowledge of retail sports betting in Africa
• Academic education in a relevant field, specialization in marketing – an advantage
• Experience in building and managing a marketing strategy
• Experience in retail sales
• Experience in online sales
• Experience in customer service management
• Experience in marketing/product management, including leading ATL/BTL campaigns
• Performance Marketing background
• Creative thinking, creativity, business thinking
• Growth focussed, goal-oriented individual
• Willingness to relocate to Africa
• Fluent in English
