BettingJobs are working with an established iGaming company who are looking to build a data centre/IT operations team based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking for a Technical Services Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for network and server infrastructure.
• Plan, design, and implement infrastructure projects and automation solutions.
• Act as a technical resource in business projects, creating necessary documentation.
• Maintain documentation of server/network topology and configurations.
• Ensure security compliance and protect application stacks against cyber threats.
• Serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk, adhering to SLAs.
• Perform system administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity and traffic utilization.
• Manage multiple workstreams, including incidents, problems, and projects.
• Follow ITIL best practices and project/change management methodologies.
• Research emerging technologies and present findings to management.

Requirements:

• Experience in server/infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows (2016+) and CentOS-based Linux OS.
• Basic networking fundamentals.
• Management/support of Windows server roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, etc.).
• Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (VMware ESX/NSX/Pure Storage).
• AWS expertise (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC/network configuration).
• Proficiency in IAC/orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Server hardware installations (HP, IBM, Dell, Lenovo).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• IT support experience in a fast-paced environment, adhering to ITIL best practices.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI-DSS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer management skills.
• Full driving license required.
