    Sports Marketing Director

    BettingJobs are currently seeking an experienced sportsbook marketing professional to take on the role of Sportsbook Marketing Director for a well-established and market-leading firm in San Jose, Costa Rica.

    The Sports Marketing Director will be responsible for growing the sports vertical. This includes working closely with the sports trading team and the marketing team, to deliver winning solutions. You will also drive the roadmap for new betting markets, product features and content. Working with marketing and customer support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are set and exceeded.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans aimed at expanding the sports vertical.
    • Focus on strategic planning, creative development, and effective execution to drive growth.
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis, including competitive research and player demographics. Stay informed about emerging trends and audience preferences to identify new opportunities and inform marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Ensure all campaigns align with business goals and drive acquisition, conversion, and retention.
    • Process and prioritize feature requests based on market needs and business objectives. Support the development of new features that enhance the user experience and meet market demands.
    • Analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns. Use quantitative analysis and A/B testing to optimize strategies and improve outcomes.
    • Provide insights and support to sales and marketing teams regarding new features and capabilities. Ensure they are well-equipped to promote products effectively.
    • Develop and manage budgets for all marketing initiatives. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Partner with third parties, in-house teams, and other stakeholders to create marketing campaigns and promotions that effectively drive market penetration and growth.
    • Analyze and interpret customer feedback and market data to improve customer journeys and experiences. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Report on performance metrics against quarterly KPIs. Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.

     

    Requirements:

    • Significant experience in sports product management with a strong focus on marketing and strategy.
    • Exceptional knowledge of North American sports.
    • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management.
    • Ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies. Must be creative, analytical, and results driven.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding project management skills to drive new initiatives and achieve set goals.
    • A creative collaborator who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    • Fully proficient in written and verbal English.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    • Ability to relocate to Costa Rica to join the team. No remote work options available.
