    Sportsbook Product Director

    Look no further! Our client, a well-known iGaming operator based in San Jose is searching for their next Sportsbook Product Director.

    The Sportsbook Product Director will be responsible for defining product requirements and bringing features to the market, taking on responsibility for managing the sportsbook product of a well-established brand. This role will be responsible for driving the roadmap for new releases, product features and content. Working closely with the marketing and support teams to ensure sportsbook goals are achieved.

    This role would be well suited to an experienced sportsbook product professional with a passion for North American sports.

    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing full P&L for the sports vertical
    • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle(s) of complex products in Sports genre. This will involve writing, consulting on specs, resolving key design challenges and a deep understanding of the Sports betting ecosystem.
    • Documenting business requirements and creating and executing product roadmaps.
    • Quantitative Analysis, including performance reporting, market sizing and operational metrics.
    • Market Analysis, including competitor research, player and genre research, and market awareness.
    • Continue to process Feature Requests and prioritize features based on business needs.
    • Support Sales and Marketing in understanding new features and capabilities.
    • Drive the overall research strategy and ensure that product decisions are based on in-depth data analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute campaigns across multiple channels.
    • Partner with third parties, our in-house sports books, web development, QA, and marketing teams to create products and promotions that effectively drive acquisition, conversion, and retention.
    • Ensuring we leverage all campaigns, products, and promotions where applicable.
    • Work on several projects to re-invigorate new forms of strategies to improve customer perceptions and acquisition, and drive revenues.
    • Analyse and interpret the performance of all products and game types, identifying areas of improvement to optimize journeys and experiences by using A/B tests and insights from the BI/Analytics team.
    • Weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting on performance against quarterly KPI’s.
    • Develop and manage budgets for all initiatives and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Stay up to date with emerging trends in the industry and audience preferences and make recommendations for product innovation.

    Requirements:

    • Significant experience in sportsbook product management.
    • Excellent knowledge of North American Sports.
    • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, market research, and competitive analysis.
    • Ability to create product specifications.
    • Must be creative and analytical and results-driven with a strong desire to test, re-evaluate, optimize, and test again.
    • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced setting.
    • Driven, passionate, and determined; a self-motivator with a knack for problem-solving.
    • Outstanding Project Management skills that will help you to develop and drive forward new projects while always having an overview and foreseeing the next steps for reaching the set goals.

    • Fully proficient in written and verbal English.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field would be advantageous
