BettingJobs is working with a new casino and sportsbook operator within the Mexican market who are seeking a Sportsbook Manager to join their team based remotely in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily sportsbook operations, including Pre-match, Live (In-Play), and Props.
• Define and maintain margin strategies, betting limits, and risk exposure policies.
• Supervise and develop trading teams or external partners to ensure consistent performance and accuracy.
• Establish operational KPIs and reporting structures to monitor sportsbook health and profitability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and tech teams to improve sportsbook features and user experience.
• Manage the implementation of advanced functionalities: Cash Out, Bet Builder, Early Payout, Micro Markets, etc.
• Support localization of the product for LATAM (especially Mexico) — including odds presentation, language, and local sports focus.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities and feature improvements.
• Manage relationships with data and odds providers.
• Evaluate provider performance and negotiate commercial/technical terms for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure stable integrations and quality of data feeds across all major sports.
• Continuously analyse betting patterns, customer profiles, and market exposure.
• Implement data-driven risk management systems and ensure proper use of BI tools.
• Develop and refine pricing and trading models to optimize profitability and minimize loss.
• Build, train, and lead sportsbook staff; establish internal training programs for traders and analysts.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to align sportsbook goals with overall business strategy.
• Provide senior management with clear reporting on performance, key metrics, and market insights.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in sportsbook operations, trading, or risk management.
• Proven management experience — leading trading or sportsbook teams.
• Solid knowledge of odds making, sports markets, and book balancing.
• Deep understanding of LATAM betting markets, with a strong focus on Mexico.
• Familiarity with both turnkey and in-house sportsbook platforms.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills based on data insights.
• Strong negotiation and provider management skills.
• Fluent English (Spanish is a significant advantage).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience launching or migrating a sportsbook platform.
• Understanding of US sports (NFL, NBA, MLB) and football (soccer) trading.
• Previous collaboration with regulated or semi-regulated markets.
• Experience in implementing automated or AI-driven trading solutions.
