BettingJobs are working with a multi-product content provider in the iGaming industry, who are currently looking for a Senior Trading Performance Manager to join their team in Riga.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously assess and refine trading performance to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Develop, implement, and distribute statistical reports and performance evaluations on trading P&L.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly Sportsbook performance to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
• Analyse trading metrics such as margin, hold percentages, and turnover, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Generate detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on trading performance.
• Maintain a trading margins matrix, breaking down components to track and achieve target margins.
• Extract key insights from data, creating compelling narratives and visualisations for Sportsbook stakeholders.
• Work closely with senior management to provide market insights and align trading strategies with business goals.
• Leverage analytics to inform strategies and develop actionable trading insights.
• Identify and implement scalable solutions to automate trading processes and enhance efficiency.
• Research and integrate new technologies, tools, and market opportunities to improve operations.
• Establish an operational dashboard to track true market-level performance against theoretical margin configurations.
• Develop strategies to manage trading risks, minimising exposure while ensuring balanced profitability.
• Define requirements and oversee the development of tools to support ongoing trading activities.
• Improve trading models, tools, and algorithms to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
• Work with product and technology teams to align trading initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Evaluate the commercial impact of external data feeds and optimise trading strategies accordingly.
• Oversee third-party odds comparison services, ensuring alignment with business needs and influencing external roadmaps.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Sportsbook Trading with a history of driving performance and profitability.
• In-depth understanding of sports betting markets, odds compilation, and pricing models.
• Experience with risk assessment techniques such as Monte Carlo simulations, back testing, and maximum drawdown analysis.
• Hands-on experience with trading systems, analytics tools, and algorithmic trading platforms.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive insights to improve performance; SQL proficiency preferred.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, data visualisation, VBA desirable) and Power BI for reporting and automation.
• Strong ability to communicate complex insights through reports, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
• A creative mindset that challenges conventional approaches and promotes new ideas for trading strategies.
• Adaptable to different time zones and work schedules, ensuring availability during core trading hours.
