BettingJobs are currently seeking a Sports Trading Manager for an established sportsbook operation, working from their Beijing office.

This role would suit an experienced Trader or Trading Manager, who has successfully led and developed teams in a sports trading environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for Basketball, strong knowledge of Football and experience working in a leadership role in a sports trading environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the effective management and trading of events as well as customer management
• Manage and develop trading team members to drive team performance and profitability
• Prepare and deliver training to different levels of traders
• Communicate the financial performance of the business and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop relationships with other functions both near to trading and also to external partners
• Take the initiative with strategic activities important to the sportsbook operation

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of a range of sports and sports wagering with a particular focus on Basketball and Football
• University level education
• Experience working in a leadership role within a sports trading environment.
• Significant experience in odds compilation and trading, preferably experienced with In-play trading
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Open to work collaboratively with people from different cultures
• Strong understanding of technology and betting systems
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
