Our client, a dynamic B2B Casino Platform provider is looking for a reliable Senior Revenue Accountant to join their fast-paced team in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Review and interpret customer contracts for appropriate revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with sales and legal teams on contract terms and conditions.
• Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in financial statement preparation and revenue disclosures.
• Support internal and external revenue audits.
• Develop and implement policies to improve revenue accounting processes.
• Identify and address improvements in revenue recognition and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and legal teams on revenue matters.
• Provide guidance and training on revenue recognition principles.
• Perform detailed revenue analysis for business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on revenue trends, forecasts, and variances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in revenue accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of relevant revenue recognition standards.
• Experience in the gaming or technology sector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
• iGaming industry experience is necessary.
