BettingJobs are working with a very well-established sports betting/iGaming company who are looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the development of their Sportsbook backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for backend sportsbook services, in line with business goals.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and Engineering teams to develop scalable, high-performance systems.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead agile ceremonies, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Align with other Product Owners and designers to ensure cross-vertical consistency and optimal internal user flows.
• Work with UX teams to optimize internal user journeys and improve operational workflows.
• Monitor and act on product KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring value delivery and prioritization.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers.
• Maintain alignment with strategic goals through regular communication with the Head of Product and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally with backend or service-oriented platforms.
• Solid technical understanding of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and complex systems integrations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, QA, UX, and architecture.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Sportsbook Experience
• Familiarity with sportsbook trading, odds, and operational tools.
• English skills are a must.
• CET or Latam schedule.
