BettingJobs is working with a well-established iGaming company seeking to expand their senior team with the addition of a Senior Legal Counsel to their team in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice across the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with global regulatory frameworks in the iGaming sector.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including software licensing, marketing, sponsorship, and supplier contracts.
• Advise on regulatory developments, licensing requirements, and compliance matters in key jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Support on M&A projects, restructurings, and corporate governance initiatives.
• Lead or assist with internal training sessions on legal and regulatory risks.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across compliance, product, marketing, and finance teams.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 7-9 years’ experience, ideally gained in a top-tier law firm and/or an in-house role within the tech, entertainment, or gaming sectors.
• Solid understanding of commercial and corporate law; exposure to gaming regulation is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously and deliver pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
