BettingJobs is working with a well-established crypto and fiat operator seeking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Senior Fraud Analytics Manager.

This role is fully remote and only accepting applications from those based in European time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate daily with operations teams to ensure fraud alerts and procedures are sharp, effective, and followed.
• Investigate all types of fraud — including multi-accounting, bonus abuse, and mechanic exploitation — and hunt for new emerging fraud trends.
• Build advanced predictive models to proactively intercept fraudulent activity.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex fraud patterns to evolve the company’s fraud detection strategy.
• Maintain and grow a fraud knowledge base to support education across teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME), offering insights and recommendations to departments like Revenue, Product, CRM, Trading, and Acquisition to help improve processes and reduce risk.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fraud analytics, ideally in iGaming or FinTech.
• Deep understanding of casino games, bonus mechanics, and associated fraud risks.
• Familiarity with global fraud trends, especially in crypto and fiat environments.
• Hands-on experience with fraud detection tools like SEON and relevant data sources.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python/R; experience in machine learning-based fraud detection is a big plus.
• Proficiency with GCP and BigQuery, and BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Excellent communication skills — you’re confident translating insights into action.
• Track record of tuning fraud defences to meet KPIs and stay within risk appetites.
