BettingJobs is working with a well-established iGaming operator seeking to expand their Gibraltar based team with a Senior Designer.
Responsibilities:
Translate marketing and commercial briefs into design outputs that meet objectives, not just aesthetic standards.
Deliver high-quality static and digital assets for campaigns, promotions, CRM, and social media.
Ensure all creative outputs are brand-first, regulator-compliant, and commercially relevant.
Take full ownership of the design process from receipt of brief to final delivery.
Actively challenge unclear or incomplete briefs, ensuring requirements are fully understood before execution.
Accept accountability for output quality — poor creative is not “the brief’s fault”; it is the designer’s responsibility to raise concerns and deliver solutions.
Prioritise design work that drives measurable business impact: acquisition, retention, and revenue.
Avoid investing time in “nice-to-have” creative that lacks strategic value unless specifically approved.
Partner with the Commercial, Operations Promotions, and Compliance leads to ensure design directly supports commercial KPIs.
Work closely with the Head of Design, Video/Motion Designer, CRM, and Promotions to deliver cohesive campaigns.
Provide constructive feedback to peers and contribute to a culture of continuous creative improvement.
Communicate design rationale clearly, demonstrating how creative supports business goals.
Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices — but apply them selectively, only where they strengthen business impact.
Maintain a high standard of craft: typography, layout, composition, and brand consistency.
Contribute to the evolution of the company design guidelines and templates.
Requirements:
5+ years’ design experience, ideally within online gambling, sports, or other performance-driven sectors.
Strong portfolio demonstrating both creativity and commercial application.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Proficiency with Figma and collaborative design tools.
Experience designing for multi-channel campaigns (CRM, web, social, paid media).
Familiarity with compliance requirements in gambling advertising.
Excellent listening skills, with ability to interpret and challenge briefs constructively.
Nice to Have:
Working knowledge of motion graphics and video editing (After Effects, Premiere).
Experience in sports betting or gaming industries.
Knowledge of HTML5/CSS for marketing creative.
Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) beneficial for Brazilian market support.
