BettingJobs is working with a well-established B2B casino platform provider, who are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join their team in Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements and changes across all operating or potential jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement compliance policies to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
• Act as a primary contact for designated regulatory bodies, managing communications and submissions.
• Serve as a named person for certain Key Functions as required by regulators.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all products.
• Oversee product certification processes to meet regulatory and industry standards.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews of products and services.
• Provide compliance guidance and support to product teams.
• Manage the entire licensing process for new markets, including applications.
• Maintain and update licenses, ensuring renewals and reporting obligations are met.
• Coordinate with legal advisors to meet all licensing requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch operations in new markets, ensuring compliance milestones are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for market entry.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, providing ongoing education to the team.
• Prepare and present regular compliance reports to senior management and the board.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities and project plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s; advanced degree preferred.
• Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance (or similar position) role within the online gambling industry
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and licensing requirements in key markets.
• Proven experience in managing regulatory affairs, product compliance, and licensing processes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
