BettingJobs are working with a privately owned Igaming business that currently operate seven online casino brands, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Accounting of revenues (casino), PsP’s, Affiliation and maintaining the ledgers
• Oversee month-end accounting procedures, including reconciliations.
• Assist in annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
• Handle bank-related processes as necessary.
• Provide administrative support and assist in financial controller tasks.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, especially in multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience.
• Experience within the iGaming industry.
• Strong familiarity with Malta’s financial and regulatory framework, including local taxation, VAT, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Proven experience working with accounting and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or nearing full ACCA qualification.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
