BettingJobs are currently seeking a Poker Operations Specialist for a forwarding thinking iGaming company in their San Jose office.

As Poker Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the success of the poker product, working across multiple teams to ensure the poker offering is optimised and effectively promoted.

This role would be ideally suited to an individual with in-depth knowledge of online poker and a desire to develop their career within the iGaming industry.

Responsibilities:

• Connect poker operations with commercial teams to align goals and execution.
• Track deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies; flag risks and keep stakeholders accountable.
• Build strong relationships with commercial managers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
• Guide non-expert teams with ad-hoc poker education to help them achieve objectives.
• Gather requirements, collaborate with operations on solutions, and help deploy ad-hoc campaigns. Report on outcomes with context, not just numbers.
• Consolidate team inputs into clear updates and recommendations for leadership.
• Support better workflows and reduce communication gaps across the organization.

Requirements:

• Passion for poker and solid understanding of the industry’s ecosystem, partnerships, and revenue drivers.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments where priorities may shift.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and aligning different teams.
• Familiarity with reporting and ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience in poker, iGaming, account management, particularly in promotions, partnerships, or marketing, would be beneficial
