Role Overview
The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator will play a pivotal role in expanding BettingJobs’ digital presence, creating high-impact content, and strengthening engagement with our global audience. You will support brand visibility, manage content execution, and contribute to multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a particular emphasis on LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging, on-brand content tailored to our LinkedIn audience of 330,000+.
- Manage and produce content for our LinkedIn Newsletter with 110,000+ subscribers, including articles, feature pieces, and market updates.
- Develop multimedia content including graphics, short-form videos, infographics, and employer branding visuals.
- Monitor social engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster meaningful interaction within the iGaming community.
- Maintain content calendars to ensure a consistent posting schedule across LinkedIn and additional social channels.
Marketing Campaign Support
- Collaborate on multi-channel marketing campaigns to showcase client partnerships, promote key events, and drive recruitment initiatives.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and automation workflows to increase engagement and interaction with candidates and clients.
- Coordinate marketing activities for industry events, conferences, and key company milestones, ensuring maximum visibility.
- Track industry awards and create compelling submissions on behalf of the company and consultants to enhance brand recognition.
Event Management & Stakeholder Liaison
- Plan, coordinate, and support company participation in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to maximise brand visibility.
- Manage logistics for events, including scheduling, marketing materials, and on-site support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and industry contacts to foster collaboration and drive engagement.
- Act as a point of contact for event-related communications, ensuring all interactions reflect BettingJobs’ brand and professional standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create event-related content, promotions, and post-event reporting.
Website Management & Content
- Manage and maintain the company website using WordPress, ensuring all content is up-to-date, visually appealing, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create and optimise website content, including articles, landing pages, and multimedia assets, to drive engagement and support marketing initiatives.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search performance, including keyword research, meta descriptions, internal linking, and page optimisation.
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate updates or improvements with developers or external agencies as needed.
- Ensure website functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience are maintained to the highest standard.
Analytics, Reporting & SEO
- Track and analyse social media and website performance metrics using platforms such as Google Analytics and SEO tools to provide actionable insights.
- Monitor website traffic, search rankings, and keyword performance, and make recommendations to improve organic visibility.
- Analyse newsletter growth, open rates, and content engagement to optimise future campaigns.
- Conduct monthly analytics audits summarising key achievements, trends, and recommendations across social media, website, and SEO performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance content, improve user experience, and increase overall digital reach through SEO and data-driven insights.
Brand & Communications
- Ensure all outbound content aligns with BettingJobs’ tone of voice and brand identity.
- Stay informed on industry news, trends, and market developments to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Recruitment, Business Development, Leadership) to highlight company achievements and industry insights.
- Liaise and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and press.
Skills & Experience Required
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and content creation (ideally in B2B environments).
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different channels.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent graphic design tools.
- Experience creating short-form video content for social platforms is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and optimise performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Proven experience managing corporate LinkedIn pages or large professional audiences is desirable.
- Experience with WordPress website management, SEO, and website content creation.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
