As the Japan Country Manager, you will lead Japanese market expansion, identifying product needs, and driving innovation. You will also oversee the marketing strategy and business performance for the Japanese market, ensuring financial KPIs are met.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of senior management experience in the global betting and gaming industry, including at least 3 years specialising in the Japanese market. You will also possess a strong track record of driving business growth and managing budgets, P&L, and key financial KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee marketing strategy and business performance for the Japanese market, ensuring financial KPIs are met.
- Lead Japanese market expansion, identifying product needs and driving innovation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to enhance offerings and improve performance.
- Drive growth in user acquisition, retention, and revenue through targeted marketing and partnerships.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including affiliates and sports leagues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Identify business opportunities and manage payment processing needs for the Japanese market.
- Stay informed on industry trends and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in senior management within global betting and gaming, with 3+ years focused on the Japanese market.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and managing budgets, P&L, and financial KPIs.
- Expertise in marketing, business development, and partnership management.
- Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical skills for market assessment, forecasting, and trend identification.
