    Head of Talent Acquisition

    BettingJobs are working with a leading iGaming/sportsbook operator that target the UK market amongst several others. They have their main HQ based in Gibraltar where they are planning to expand their team. They are currently looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to join their team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global TA team with clear KPIs and accountability.
    • Define and deliver a scalable, business-aligned talent acquisition strategy across geographies and employment models.
    • Personally drive senior or critical hires to ensure momentum and credibility.
    • Optimize TA operations: streamline processes, standardize workflows, and embed consistent reporting.
    • Build and enhance ATS and recruitment tooling, ensuring integrations, usability, and efficiency.
    • Manage external partners and vendors, balancing performance with cost control.
    • Champion a data-driven hiring culture through analytics, dashboards, and market insights.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in collaboration with HR, Legal, and Risk.
    • Deliver exceptional candidate experience and consistent employer brand globally.
    • Advise and influence senior leaders on workforce needs and hiring strategies.
    • Support workforce planning, talent benchmarking, and expansion into new sourcing channels.

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years’ TA experience with proven leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
    • Strong track record of fixing and scaling TA operations (process, tooling, reporting).
    • Hands-on experience hiring senior, niche, and specialist roles across functions and markets.
    • Expertise in international hiring, including relocation and visa processes.
    • Familiarity with regulated industries and compliance-driven recruitment.
    • Proven ability to align TA strategies with business goals and engage senior stakeholders.
    • Deep ATS and tooling knowledge, from implementation to optimization.
    • Experience managing agencies and driving vendor governance and spend control.
    • Strong grounding in employer branding, recruitment marketing, and candidate experience.
    • Strategic yet pragmatic mindset — balancing hands-on delivery with long-term planning.
    • Knowledge of diverse employment models and their impact on workforce planning.
