BettingJobs is working with a new start-up project, founded and run by a small group of iGaming industry veterans. The focus of this start-up is to launch a casino and sportsbook operator in the Russian market, and they are looking for a Head of Sportsbook experienced in this market to assist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the sportsbook strategy to increase market share and profitability.
• Oversee odds setting, risk management, and trading operations to ensure balanced and profitable books.
• Manage all aspects of betting product development, including features, markets, and user interface enhancements.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to execute promotional campaigns and user retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and responsible gambling standards.
• Monitor betting trends, conduct competitive analysis, and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Lead and develop the trading and sportsbook operations team.
• Analyse betting data, customer behaviour, and operational metrics for continuous improvement

Requirements: 

• Extensive experience in sportsbook operations (Russia and post-Soviet Union countries)
• trading, or risk management at a leadership level.
• Deep understanding of sports betting markets, odds, and risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with betting software and trading platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment affecting sports betting in target markets.
• Leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
