BettingJobs are currently seeking a Head of SEO for an innovative iGaming company in their Manchester office. The Head of SEO will be responsible for developing innovative pathways for players to discover the brands, fine-tuning existing tools for maximum impact and educating teams on the latest SEO best practices.
This role would be well-suited to an experienced SEO professional with experience working within the online gaming industry, ideally with a focus on the UK market.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, plan, develop and implement optimisation strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings which ultimately lead to new user acquisitions.
- Define and own the SEO product roadmap and lead execution, delivering great user experiences to both our natural search users and search engines.
- Manage and drive the product development process from idea to production for new products and feature launches.
- Perform on/off-page SEO audits, competitor analysis, and identify areas for improvement.
- SEO keywords and topic analysis to use throughout our website to promote each of our products.
- Run technical SEO audits and align with the related teams to guarantee the site is compliant with the latest best practices.
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
- Maintain content planner, ensuring content and comms activities are aligned to corporate priorities.
- Liaise with developers and internal teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Research the external resources which contribute value to increasing search visibility
- Reporting regularly on search performance.
- Research SEO trends and share across teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in a senior SEO focussed position
- Strong knowledge of the iGaming industry in the UK
- Detailed knowledge of online casino would be a significant advantage
- Solid understanding of content marketing, outreach, and link acquisition strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and growing a team.
- Commercially savvy.
