    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and scale a high-performing Risk, Fraud, and Payments team across multiple brands — including recruitment, training, and day-to-day oversight.
    • Ensure fast and accurate fraud decision-making while maintaining an excellent customer experience.
    • Own fraud prevention, chargeback mitigation, payment approvals, and redemption oversight.
    • Work closely with Compliance and AML to ensure end-to-end player integrity and protection.
    • Continuously evolve internal processes and tools to stay ahead of abuse, scams, and emerging threats.
    • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on fraud metrics, operational KPIs, and payments performance.
    • Own and improve the end-to-end customer payments journey — purchases, redemptions, verifications.
    • Develop and implement a diversified PSP strategy, ensuring U.S. coverage, redundancy, and speed.
    • Oversee the roadmap and backlog for payments and fraud tooling — working closely with product and tech teams.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all PSPs, fraud platforms, and risk vendors — including negotiation and ongoing relationship management.
    • Benchmark competitors and stay ahead of industry developments in fraud prevention and payments innovation.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience leading fraud and/or payments operations in a highly regulated or US-facing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of the US PSP landscape, including alternative payment methods, settlement timelines, and chargeback management.
    • Solid grasp of fraud detection systems, KYC/verification workflows, and responsible gambling processes.
    • Commercially minded with experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
    • Analytical and data-driven, with strong reporting and Excel/BI skills.
    • Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with the ability to handle complex and sensitive issues under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a scale-up environment.
    • Willing to work from Gibraltar in a hybrid capacity.
