BettingJobs is working with an exciting iGaming operator who are seeking to hire a talented Head of Marketing Data to join their team in San Jose.
Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and provide leadership in all areas of marketing data analysis.
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing data strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and business intelligence professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data insights.
Coordinate all data activities across these functions to ensure seamless data integration and insights dissemination.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various marketing channels, including paid, owned, and earned media.
Conduct in-depth analysis of player and market trends, demographics, and competitor activities.
Utilize advanced analytical tools and software to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Prepare detailed reports on consumer behaviour, competitor activity, and marketing performance.
Create and present clear, concise, and insightful dashboards that measure the efficacy of all marketing activities.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform marketing tactics and strategies.
Work closely with the marketing team to inform and develop strategies across Affiliates, CRM, Product, SEO, Display, Social Media, and other channels. Communicate complex data and insights in an easy-to-understand format for various stakeholders.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology, market trends, and consumer behaviour.
Implement innovative data analysis methodologies to enhance the marketing capabilities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing data analysis, with a focus on the iGaming industry.
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Strong proficiency in analytical software such as SAD, SPSS, Google Analytics, Funnel.io, Mouseflow, Frog, etc.
Excellent knowledge of computer programs including MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional research, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with survey tools, CRM programs, and databases.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
High attention to detail and a passion for data-driven marketing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
