Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to Executive Management on issues such as contracts, litigation, corporate governance, and legal affairs.
• Draft, review, and ensure compliance of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and regulations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the gaming industry, and offer proactive legal guidance.
• Advise on employment law, intellectual property, and contract disputes; manage employment disputes and represent the company in related proceedings.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings and manage legal risks to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain corporate records, manage intellectual property, and handle necessary filings and registrations.
• Collaborate on legal department budget management and prepare legal reports for senior management.
• Develop and implement data privacy policies, manage license applications, conduct privacy impact assessments, and perform regulatory risk analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; Master’s degree (LLM) preferred.
• Bar Exam or equivalent accreditation.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, with international gaming regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience managing a legal team.
• Experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Membership in a professional legal body preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High integrity, ethical standards, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
