BettingJobs is working with an established global loyalty platform provider specialising in the iGaming who are now seeking to expand their team with a Head of Global VIP Poker Players Acquisition based hybrid from their Malta office
They are looking for a highly strategic and commercially driven professional to lead our Global VIP Poker Player Acquisition efforts. This person will own and execute the global acquisition strategy for high-value poker players, elite teams, and key affiliates, with a direct impact on the company’s revenue and international footprint.
Key Duties:
- Build and grow a predictable, high-value acquisition pipeline of VIP players, teams, and affiliates.
- Maximize rake revenue and retention through personalized approaches and relationship building.
- Secure strategic partnerships that deliver recurring, long-term value.
- Position the company as the #1 hub for poker loyalty and benefits in the key markets (Brazil, Portugal, LATAM).
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial, acquisition, or business development roles.
- Proven track record in the iGaming sector, preferably with deep involvement in online poker ecosystems.
- Strong experience managing and converting VIP player pipelines – including individuals, teams, and affiliates.
- Background working in or with affiliation models and digital sales (B2C and/or B2B2C).
- Deep understanding of:
- Online poker dynamics (rake, rakeback, deal structures).
- Key poker communities, teams, operators, and channels.
- Affiliate acquisition strategies and monetization models.
- Comfortable navigating Poker platforms like GGPoker, WPT, ACR, Winamax, Partypoker, Poker forums etc.
- CRM proficient (Hubspot or similar).
- Data-driven: confident in analysing funnel performance, LTV, ROI, CAC.
- Proficient in prospecting and outreach via LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, email, and poker forums.
- Can build strong business cases, pitch decks, and close deals independently.
- Bonus: experience attending or speaking at poker events or managing team sponsorships.
