    Head of Acquisition

    BettingJobs are currently recruiting for a Head of Acquisition for a leading operator based in Yerevan, Armenia.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead a team of SEO experts to formulate and execute a cutting-edge strategy for enhancing the company’s organic visibility and conquering search engine algorithms.
    • Collaborate closely with the SEO team lead to optimize Base KPIs such as Organic Click-Through Rates (CTR), Keyword Rankings, and User Engagement, continuously refining and elevating the SEO game. Other KPIs may be applicable based on operation.
    • Oversee the Affiliate Marketing team, cultivating and nurturing a network of powerful partnerships.
    • Craft innovative commission structures, negotiate agreements, and deploy cutting-edge fraud prevention measures.
    • Collaborate with the Affiliate team lead to optimize and measure base KPIs, including First-Time Depositors (FTD), Conversion Rates, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and Partner Satisfaction. Other KPIs may be applicable based on operation.
    • Direct the Digital Marketing team in planning and executing campaigns with precision.
    • Partner with the Digital Marketing team leads to optimize base KPIs such as Cost Per Mile (CPM), Cost Per Click (CPC), Conversion Rates, and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). Other KPIs may be applicable based on operation.
    • Guide the Social Media Marketing team in crafting engaging content and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the SMM team lead to optimize and measure Base KPIs, including Engagement Rates, Share of Voice, Sentiment Analysis, and Customer Acquisition via Social Channels. Other KPIs may be applicable based on operation.
    • Navigate acquisition operations in diverse markets and regulatory environments.
    • Formulate strategies tailored to regional nuances and compliance requirements.
    • Exercise strategic leadership in global market expansions, ensuring seamless operations across various international jurisdictions.
    • Deliver, testing and optimizing acquisition funnels.
    • Deliver bespoke marketing mix per geography to increase traffic and conversions.
    • A/B and multivariate testing of new user journeys as well as landing pages, etc.
    • Conversion rate optimization.
    • Welcome offers and bonus budget management & optimization.
    • Exemplify inspirational leadership, fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Work closely with team leads to negotiate effectively with media partners, affiliates, and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate adept management skills to build high-performing teams.
    • Undertake complete ownership of pivotal digital marketing channels, intricately managing PPC, SEO, Display/Programmatic, Affiliation, and both Paid and Organic Social Media.
    • Precision management of budgets, meticulously aligning with growth targets, and prioritizing profitability/ROI for an optimized financial trajectory.
    • Innovate and execute a meticulously tailored marketing plan, leveraging a sophisticated understanding of market dynamics.
    • Craft, fine-tune, and analyze ongoing campaigns across PPC and Paid Social, employing advanced optimization strategies.
    • Conceptualize, execute, and scrutinize acquisition promotions spanning throughout all gambling portfolios, rigorously optimizing bonus costs to ensure unparalleled ROI.
    • Direct, supervise, and provide strategic guidance to external SEO, Programmatic, CRM, and Social Media (organic) agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and performance excellence.
    • Methodically manage and optimize existing partnerships while actively scouting and capitalizing on new opportunities.
    • Foster close collaboration with central teams including Marketing, Product, Operations, and BI and Analytics teams, ensuring a cohesive and unparalleled customer experience through integrated strategies and insights.
    • Full ownership of acquisition P&L for all channels and associated KPIs and targets
    • Create bespoke reporting and monitor and analyze campaign performance data and metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Effectively activate new and existing sponsorships with a strong focus in lowering CAC whilst increasing LTV.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new user acquisition technologies/tools, recommending innovative strategies to gain a competitive edge.
    • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and partners.
    • Review and optimize the company’s market stack, including tracking methodologies.

    Requirements:
    • Possess a minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in similar roles within the gambling industry, showcasing a deep understanding of its intricacies.
    • Demonstrate a compelling track record in the initiation and expansion of customer acquisition, retention, and brand programs, attesting to a history of tangible success.
    • Exhibit a commercially and analytically oriented mindset, adept at harnessing both quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decisions and deliver impactful outcomes.
    • Showcase holistic marketing expertise, spanning the entire spectrum from awareness to advocacy, augmented by hands-on proficiency in campaign management.
    • Display the capability to adapt swiftly and excel within dynamic and fast-paced/start-up environments, reflecting resilience and agility in navigating industry challenges.
    • Convey passion for the industry, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to build and nurture trust-based relationships.
    • Fluent in English, with additional language proficiency considered a valuable asset, enhancing effective communication in a multicultural context.
