BettingJobs is working with a growing Welsh sports betting company based in Cardiff. They are expanding their team as they look to bring their entire finance function in-house as the business expands.

They are searching for a qualified Accountant to step in as Finance Manager to assist with this transition.

Responsibilities:

• Lead on financial reporting, including statutory reporting, filings and tax reporting
• Responsible for day-to-day accounting, treasury and reporting
• Preparation the monthly management report
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting process (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
• Providing financial analysis and commercial insight support including KPI and ROI to support decision making
• Involved in financial systems development to support the business and growth
• Responsible for creating and reviewing all internal processes and controls to ensure efficiency

Requirements

• Recognised accounting/finance qualifications & professional certifications.
• Professional accounting/finance experience within a growing business.
• Previous sports betting experience will be considered a significant advantage thought not required.
• Excellent organisational skillset
• Proficiency using major finance and management applications
• Outstanding communication abilities, both in person and written.
• An ambitious personality and drive for self-improvement.
