Our client, the locally regulated market lottery operator launching sports betting & casino gaming offering within the UAE is currently searching for an experienced Finance Business Partner (Lottery) to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with business leaders to understand goals, challenges, and align budget/forecast efforts with objectives, regularly monitoring financial performance against targets and KPIs.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis on revenue, customer costs, lifetime value, player behaviour, and market trends, providing insights to optimize outcomes.
- Support P&L management for business units, tracking revenues/costs, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions to ensure profitability and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations teams on cost reduction and process improvements, ensuring expenditures align with financial strategy.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management, emphasizing key performance metrics, trends, and overall financial health.
- Provide financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis to assess investments, pricing, product launches, resource allocation, and strategic decisions.
- Identify and manage financial risks within the business unit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, with a focus on business partnering or financial analysis.
- Experience in iGaming.
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial planning and ERP software.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position always.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
