    Denmark Compliance Officer

    Let’s start with the role

    As our new Compliance Officer , you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring full regulatory compliance in the Danish market .You’ll achieve this through various communications with internal and external stakeholders. This includes:

    • Providing feedback to compliance-related requests.
    • Offering guidance on product, marketing, and other specifications.
    • Reviewing regulatory and legal texts.
    • Aligning with project teams.


    As a Compliance Officer you will:

    • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: You’ll research and communicate legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll also create action plans and obtain approvals by the Danish Gaming Authority or other relevant regulatory bodies.
    • Support Compliance Initiatives: You’ll collaborate with the Compliance Manager to guarantee compliance across the organization. This involves ensuring effective delivery of regulatory initiatives.
    • Stay Up-to-Date: You’ll conduct regulatory research by reviewing bulletins and other relevant sources of information.
    • Develop Regulatory Policies: You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and support regulatory policies, incorporating future trends and real-world data.
    • Strategic Compliance: You’ll propose strategic approaches for local regulatory compliance and align them with company-wide objectives.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: You’ll liaise with independent authorities, government and non-government bodies, law enforcement agencies, auditors, and other companies to promote the company’s interests.
    • Risk Management and Internal Audits: You’ll perform risk assessments and internal audits relevant to legal and regulatory compliance across operations, technical systems, and support processes.
    • Reporting and Response: You’ll craft reports regarding regulatory requirements and action plans. Additionally, you’ll prepare formal responses to questions and investigations by official bodies.
    • Compliance Culture: You’ll be responsible for spreading the compliance culture throughout the company through training and other means.


    What you’ll bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law/ Political Sciences or a related field (academic background in Law is preferred);
    • 3-7 years of relevant experience in the gaming industry or another heavily regulated industry.;
    • Proficiency  in managing regulatory requirements and interfacing with regulators;
    • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment;
    • Exceptional analytical capabilities;
    • Strong interpersonal,communication and presentation skills;
    • A tech-oriented mindset and passion for innovation in the industry are highly valued attributes.
    • Fluency in English.
