BettingJobs are currently seeking an experienced Cricket Trader to join a market-leading sportsbook in their London office. As Cricket Trader you will be responsible for trading cricket matches, maximising revenue through effective trading.

This role would ideally be suited to an experienced Cricket Trader with a passion for the sport. This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading sportsbook and take on responsibility for one of their key sports.

Responsibilities:

• Pricing and trading cricket matches.
• Creating the best possible level of cricket trading service by releasing prices early and keeping in-play markets live wherever possible.
• Creating the most accurate prices possible and optimising bet value to revenue conversion rates by using the best possible pricing and trading techniques.
• Guiding less experienced traders to improve their performance wherever possible.
• Monitoring liabilities and moving prices based on shrewd client trades and competitor market moves.
• Accurately building and settling markets, ensuring mistakes are kept to a minimum.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Cricket Trading role.
• Passionate about Cricket and possess an extensive knowledge in all aspects of the sport.
• Work to a very high level and remain calm in a pressured environment.
• Very numerate with a sharp betting/trading brain.
• Hold a strong degree preferably in a quantitative subject.
• Be prepared to work early/late/night shifts to tie in with when the live Cricket matches are taking place.
