BettingJobs is working with a newly formed, high-potential Forex brokerage startup based in Dubai, backed by a well-established holding group with diversified interests across finance, fintech, and the luxury sectors. They are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full setup of the Forex brokerage, including regulatory approvals, licensing, legal structuring, and compliance framework.
• Manage vendor selection for platforms, liquidity providers, CRM systems, KYC/AML tools, and back-office technology.
• Build and oversee the operations, risk, client support, and compliance teams.
• Define and optimize operational processes for account onboarding, trade execution, settlements, and customer service.
• Develop and implement the firm’s operational strategy aligned with business objectives and regional/international growth plans.
• Collaborate with other businesses under the holding group to identify synergies and cross-sector opportunities.
• Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulatory standards and AML/KYC policies.
• Build a strong internal controls environment and manage risk proactively.
• Oversee the integration and continuous improvement of trading platforms and backend systems.
• Work closely with the CTO or technical teams to ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and trader-friendly.
• Recruit and mentor a high-performing, agile operations team.
• Foster a performance-driven, transparent, and collaborative culture.

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting up and launching a Forex brokerage firm (preferably in the UAE or similar regulatory environments).
• Strong understanding of global FX markets, platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5, cTrader), and liquidity models (ECN/STP/Market Maker).
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks and the end-to-end licensing process.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution capability.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience working within a group structure or multi-brand holding environment.
• Exposure to luxury, fintech, or financial services markets in emerging regions.
